Selection of lines with effective characteristics for high yield in wheat segregation population in warm and semi warm dryland condition.

In this study as many as 36 bread wheat segregating populations including 26 F5 and 10 F7 generations were studied in Khorramabad dryland agriculture research station in 2006-7 wheat growing season throught modified bulk method. During the growing period selection was done for desirable traits such as early vigorK plant heightK tiller number K uniformity of panicle exertionK earliness and reaction to major diseases. At the result 13 F5 and 9 F7 populations were Selected to advance evaluations.
