Study of planting date on the yield of different rice varieties

In order to determine the best variety and planting date of rice in Khoramabad location , this study was conducted in RCBD as split – plot with 4 replications in 2003 and 2004. Main plots were four planting dates (April 14April 23May 3 and May 13) and three varieties (Domsiah , Benam and Hashemi) were used as subplots. Results showed that difference between planting dates and varieties were significant. The second planting date with 2559.7 Kg/ha and Domsiah with 2770.1 Kg/ha were the best and can be recommended for Khoramabad condition
