Maize has an especial role to supply equipments of this crop in aspect of food in the human and animal consume has important place. Factors such as compatibility of maize with different climate condition and production of various species cause to culture maize in different areas specially in the warm and semi warm areas. Maize is cultured after wheat in efficient climate condition without studying soil characteristics. This study was performed to repair the maize requirement tables and to evaluation of quality land suitability in some areas Such as Orzoiyeh region in Kerman province, Ashekara region in Hajiabad of Hormozgan province and Iranshahr region in Sistan and Bluchestan province. In any farm, one profile was drilled, investigated and sampled. Soils were classified according to American classification (USDA 2006). Physical and chemical characteristics such as hydraulic conductivity (EC) , pH, texture, sodium adsorption ratio (SAR) , gypsum, lime, organic carbon, phosphate, potassium and CEC was measured in soil samples. In the next stage, between farm yield and mentioned characters was done regression relationships and planed their curves. Performed studies show that soils were classified to two orders: Aridisols and Entisols, and six soil families. Investigation of relationship between maize yield and different parameters show that the most correlation is between soil salinity and yield (R2=0.67), mean, increasing soil salinity causes to decrease yield. Soil acidity also has effect on maize yield (R2=0.51). Some factors such as soil nutrients may be have significantly effect on maize yield. Other land properties have no significant relationship with yield. The quality land suitability results of maize show that the studied farms was classified from moderately suitable (S2) to permanently not Suitable (N2) with some limits such as: salinity, acidity and physical properties. Studied land, in Orzoiyeh area in Kerman province was classified to marginally suitable (S3) and permanently not Suitable (N2) and in Ashekara and Iranshahr was classified to marginally suitable (S3) and permanently not_ Suitable (N2) class. Totally, could say that cultivation of maize after wheat in southern areas of Iran needs to evaluate the quality land suitability by using of crop requirement tables that are compatible with area. To use better of soil and water resource to cultivation of maize need repairing practices and sufficient management.
