In order of evaluation the effect of different sowing date and density of seed in mechanization and traditional culture of Iranian clover (Trifolium resupinatum L.), a investigation carried out in Mahidasht Research Station in a split factorial design in form a complete randomized block with 3 replication and 81 treatments. During carring this investigation, number of traits such germination, branching, plant height, time of flowering, L/S percentage, wet yield and dry yield evaluated. The results showed that traditional plat sowing in sowing date of 6 september with 10kg/ha seed density produced 3.77 t/ha wet forage (a class) , 0/698 t/ha dry forage (ab class) , 0/376 t/ha leaf dry forage (a class) and 0/321 t/ha stem dry forage (ab class) had been better than other treatments. In this year or first year traditional plat sowing , again in 23 september with 20 kg/ha seed density were better than others, ana produced 3.55 t/ha wet forage (ab class), 0/705 t/ha dry forage (a class),0/364 t/ha leaf dey forage(ab class) and 0/340 t/ha stem dry forage (a class).
