Productivity and growth of three Boka-sugi (Cryptomeria japonica D. Don) stands at Kitayashiki, Aratachi and Bussyouji, Toyama prefecture, were investigated. Biomasses were estimated by using the allometry method. The biomasses of Kitayashiki stand were 75.38tons/ha (222.63 cubic m/ha in volume) for stem, 8.11tons/ha for branch and 28.98tons/ha for leaf in dry weight. Those of Aratachi stand were 166.27tons/ha (561.95 cubic m/ha) for stem, 12.91tons/ha for branch and 31.99tons/ha for leaf. And those of Bussyouji stand were 208.89tons/ha (674.28 cubic m/ha) for stem, 17.46tons/ha for branch and 31.47tons/ha for leaf. The biomass increments, in the last year, of Kitayashiki stand were 8.74tons/ha/yr (23.95 cubic m/ha/yr in volume) for stem, 0.80tons/ha/yr for branch and 5.22 tons/ha/yr for leaf in dry weight. Those of Aratachi stand were 9.95tons/ha/yr (31.66 cubic m/ha/yr) for stem, 0.85tons/ha/yr for branch and 9.42tons/ha/yr for leaf. And those of Bussyouji stand were 14.05tons/ha/yr (42.59 cubic m/ha/yr) for stem, 1.80tons/ha/yr for branch and 6.17 tons/ha/yr for leaf.
