The present study reports observations on 200 confirmed cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis during the years 2001 - 2004. The cases were recorded at Dadu District Hospital and local LAGOS Centers during the outbreak of epidemics. All the patients were clinically observed and some were tested for L.D. bodies by the permanent preparation of skin scrapings, stained with hematoxylin and eosin and mounted in Canada balsam. Frequency distribution of various factors among the C.L. patients were noted including age, marital status, religion, sex, education, occupation, ethnicity, monthly income and residence in Dadu district or elsewhere. Types and location of lesions on the body and sleeping habits of the patients were also observed and reported here. EPI info was used to perform the statistical analysis and test of significant was applied. Test applied was chi square. Tables are also made in support of observation and data collected. Sindh province of Pakistan is also an endemic area for leishmaniasis.
