Control of nematodes associated with mungbean by using organic and inorganic nematicides

Studies were conducted under field conditions to determine the comparative efficacy of Fertinemakil, Fertinemakil plus, neem leaves extract and Carbofuran on nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita and Pratylenchus penetrans) associated with mungbean and its yield. Maximum increase in yield was recorded by Carbofuran followed by Fertinemakil plus. However, the populations of both the nematodes were most abated by carbofuran followed by extract of neem leaves.
