Qualitative parameters of grapes grown in southern Poland

The aim of the study was quantitive characteristics of Vitis vinifera cultivars. Total acidity was measured with potentometric method, data expressed as tartaric acid, solube solids content with a refractometer (percent), total poliphenols spectrophotometric method, Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power and elements: Ca, K, Na and Zn using atomic absorption spectrometry. Among all investigated cultivars Marechal Foch and Rondo (red fruits) were rich in poliphenols, FRAP, as well as measured elements. White berry cultivar Jutrzenka had its parameters closer to red berries than white ones. Seyval Blanc revealed the lowest content of measured constituents
