The aim of this study was to examine presence of residues of antibiotics and sulfonaminedes in meat and organs of healthy animals from slaughter line, in the working laboratory. In the working laboratory 350 animals were examined from slaughter line and the presence of antibiotic residues was found in 0.48% animals. Based on examination of 230 pigs that originate from farms (100) and from private sector (120) presence of residues was established in 0.87% animals. Among 690 organ samples (muscles, liver, renal) the most frequent proved residues was kidney tissue (0.87%). By examination of 110 cattle, 330 tissue samples, respectively the residues were found at 0.83% animals, always in kidney tissue. In tissue of investigated animals no residues of sulfonamides was.
