The influence of larvae nourishment on quality of queen cells and weight of honey queens | Uticaj varijanti Dulitlovog metoda na kvalitet maticnjaka i masu matica

Influence of four nourishment base on queen cells and weight of unfertilized queens was examined. The results showed that the largest mass of unfertilized queens was in groups with double grafted larvae and dry base (0.194 g) and the least was in group with honey larvae nourishment. In the group with double grafted larvae with royal jelly nourishment was detected the most queen cell weight (2.91 g), queen cell lenght (2.85 cm) and queen cell cubic (1.2 cubic cm), while the most queen cell width was in group with dry base (1.4 cm)
