Research has been conducted on apple aphids, throughout many localities in Serbia, during 2007 and 2008. New invasive species, Spiraea aphid, Aphis spiraecola Patch., (synonim Aphis citricola) was found on apple. It was found in about 30 samples. Key for separation of A. spiraecola from very similar A. pomi was given in this paper.
