Variability of quantitative traits in cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata L.) genotypes

This study examined major quantative traits in three experimental genotypes of cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata L.) as compared to the cultivar BL-Krajina (standard). The research was conducted at the trial field of the Agricultural Institute of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) during the 2005-2007 period. The three-year investigation revealed significant differences between the cocksfoot genotypes in both yield and quality of biomass and seed yield.
