Quality carcasses and breast meat of chicks fed different rapeseed products | Uticaj ishrane brojlera sa razlicitim proizvodima od uljane repice na kvalitet trupa i mesa grudi pilica

Quality of carcasses and quality (nutritive and sensory) of breast meat of chicks fed mixture where a portion of soybean meal was substituted with different rapeseed products, were investigated. Differences found in quality of carcasses and breast meat yield of control and experimental groups were not significant (P is greater than 0.05). The change of feed composition had no influence (P is greater than 0.05) on nutritive quality of breast meat i.e. content of proteins, free fat and total ash. The performed changes had no negative influence on sensory characteristics of fresh breast meat (colour and odor).
