[Biological features and productivity of geese depending on different factors]

The monography studies biological features and productivity of geese. The geese of Shadrinskaya, Lindovskaya and Italian White breeds are explored. The indices of estimation are egg yield, reproductive capacity, incubation egg quality, hematologic properties and autarcesis. It is shown that egg yield depends mostly on a breed and geese age have a higher effect on egg weight than on egg yield. The Italian White geese have bigger egg yields and the maximum egg weight and they are recommended to use in commercial production. The geese of Shadrinskaya breed have higher autarcesis indices therefore it is recommended to save a flock of them as being genofond for follow researches and selection on high level of organism resistance. Is necessary to receive incubation eggs during autumn period for year-round meat production. It is rationally to enrich a premix with vitamin C at a dose of 50 milli g per g to raise the productivity and reproductive capacity of geese
