Microfocus X-ray sources allow to receive expanded object image data of high quality (with good deep hardness) in compare with traditional sources. The developed apparatus is notable for a high level radiation safety, small outer dimensions and weight. This enables to create movable laboratories for express control of grain crop seed quality. An analysis of a seed line X-rayogram can process in automatized mode with computer software using. The method allows to show up negative grain characteristics which have biological and technological importance: hidden endosperm fissuring, grain damage by sunn pest (Eurygasteer integriceps Put.), enzymomycotic exhaustion, fungal and mechanical injuries of embryos, pest colonization of corn seeds, inner germinating. Biologically rigorous seeds also can differ in morphological embryo qualities, which have influence on seed qualities that is why it is possible to select corn seed by positive characterictics. It is established that quality of vegetable crop seeds depends from ecological factors in a greater degree and seed structure of grain, industrial, oil and feed crops reproduces the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors. The method of radiographic evaluation can be used at reserve seed stock or strategical seed reserves formation. It ensures a high level of the expert estimation of agricultural production quality and biosafety. A mission is set up to expand a range of crops analyzed by the radiographic method and a range of negative characterics which can be exposed by this method. It is perspective to develop methods and apparatus for X-ray separation of a wide range of crops, especially vegetable ones, and to develop express forecasting of valuable parameters of seed, food and feed grain lines
