Factors influencing germination and growth of isolated embryos of Pinus heldreichii

The effect of the nutritional, hormonal, and physical factors on the germination and growth of isolated mature zygotic embryos of Pinus heldreichii were studied under in vitro conditions. The results obtained show that an in vitro culture system could be applied for rapid and synchronous production of healthy seedlings of elite and/or selected genotypes with low seed production.
