Glauconite is one of the most prospect aluminosilicates which stimulate metabolism activity in animal organisms and increase their productivity. Six month-aged bull-calves (BC) of the breed Bestuzhev received their ration (RT) added by glauconite at a dose of 0.05 (2 group, 2G), 0.1 (3 group, 3G) and 0.15 gram per 1 kg of live weight (4 group, 4G). The control group (1G) had no additives into the ration. Control killing was done at the age of 18 months. Chemical composition of average meat assay, of back longissimus muscle (BLM) and its biological value was determined. It was noted that glauconite addition into RT contributed to more intensive meat protein and fat synthesis. Thus, the BC of 2-4G exceeded the ones of the 1G by fat content by 0.70-1.34% and by protein content by 0.20-1.06%. The highest result was fixed in the 3G. The BC of the 2G and 4G exceeded the ones of the 1G by energy concentration in 1 kg of meat flesh by 306 kilo J (3.9%) and 408 kilo J (5.2%) respectively, but the BC of the 3G did by 704 kilo J (9.0%). It was found out that the BC of the 3G were characterized by maximum energy in meat flesh (1795.2 milli J), and the ones og the 1,2 and 4 G did 1445.38, 1600.95 and 1653.92 milli J respectively. BLM estimation had to be put much attention at meat quality analysis. The BC of the 3G exceeded the BC of the 1G by fat and protein content in BLM by 0.48% and 1.18%, the BC of the 2G did by 0.14 and 0.47%, the ones of the 4G did by 0.28 and 0.90% respectively. Amino acid content in BLM was high for the all groups. The BC of the 1G had less triptophan content than the ones of the 2G, 3G and 4G by 6.78%, 25.31 and 12.66 milli g% respectively. The BC of the 1G were characterized by higher oxiprolin (a component of partial protein) content in BLM. The benefit of the BC of the 2G, 3G and 4G by a protein qualitative index was 0.33 units (5.6%), 0.96 units (16.3%), 0.61 units (10.4%) respectively in compare with the 1G. It was established that glauconite addition into BC RT at a dose of 0.10 gram per 1 kg of live weight had the highest effect according the all studied parameters.
