Ecological estimation of intensive technology of cultivation of spring wheat in the forest-steppe of Western Siberia

The study was done in 2005-2007 in the Novosibirsk region on leached loamy black earth. Within the link of three-course rotation (fallow-wheat-wheat) 3 cultivation technologies of spring Novosibirskaya 29 wheat different in intensity were used. In the control variant achochemicals were not used, under normal technology P20 was applied in rigs and herbicides were used against bilobate weeds, under intensive technology in addition nitrogen was used before sowing, seeds were pretreated, growth regulators were used as well as herbicides against monocotyle weeds, insecticides and fungicides. Useful fauna was recorded throughout the vegetation period with periodicity of 7-10 days. Among useful entomofauna coccinellides predominated (6 species), golden-eyed lacewings (2 species), syrphid flies (3 genera), bugs (2 species). The species composition of these insects did not change under different cultivation technologies. Under intensive technology coccinellide density really grew 1.2-4.0 times and syrphid flies 1.6-10.0 times. The total population of carnivorous entomophages under intensive technology increased 1.5-1.9 times. However, under intensive technology the population of grain aphids was also 1.3 times higher. It is concluded that intensive technology does not break ecological balance in the agrocoenosis of spring wheat.
