[Increase methods of potato adaptive potential in the Medium Coastal Amur Area [Treatments of tubers by humic preparations for rise of fungal disease resistance]]

Field experiments were done during 4 years in the Khabarovsk Territory. The potato varieties Nevskij and Evgiria were grown at a rotation on meadow-brown and soddy-brown heavy soils. Preplanting treatments of tubers was done by 3 humic preparations (HP). The chemical protectant Benlat served as an etalon. Treatment by HP accelerated a start of the main phenophases by 2-7 days in compare with the control variant and by 1-3 days in compare with the etalon. Leaf area increased by 10-25%, chlorophyll content in did by 11-33% and dry matter content did in 1.5 times. A number of plants infected by bare patch decreased in 2-3 times. Resistance to black spot and late blight was the same as at treatment by a fungicide. Potato yield raised by 4 200-5 400 kg/ha (the control one was 21 000 kg/ha) due to treatment by HP. Tuber marketability increased by 7.7-10.0%. HP were also added into a fungicide solution at potato top treatment. It allowed to decrease a pesticide application rate in 2 times without changing its efficiency. Yield additions to the control meanings (22 100 kg/ha) were 5000-9400 kg/ha in the case of HP using for preplanting tuber treatment and plant top treatment; tuber marketability increased by 12-17%. The conclusion has been done that HP treatment is prospect for growing potatoes in the conditions of the Middle Amur Coastal region because it is profitable and safe for environment.
