Aim of this study was to enhance the quality of bimolecules from wastewater in the desizing process. The propose of a desizing process was to remove sizes that been attached the wrap yarns during a weaving process in textile Industry. Textile wastewater may contain large quantities of starch as a result of desizing process. Saccharomyces cerevisae was used in the fermentation (solid media ) of desizing starch at room temperature for 7 days. These products were analysed with regard to proximate composition and cyanide content. The result revealed that there were significant increase in protein (13.64 percent), fat (1.89 percent), reducing sugar (461.5 mg/10 g) and non-reducing sugar (379.5 mg/10 g) contents. Conversely, there was significant decrease in the cyanide content. It would be inferred that Saccharomyces cerevisae, a cheap and non-pathogenic saprophytic aerobe, could be used for enhancing the biomolecules potential of desizing starch by increasing the biomolecules (protein, fat and sugar) and decreasing cyanide contents.
