The article accepts on the criteria about the rational regime of work on the soil-cultivation units and the factors, which they determined. It is made an analysis of some of these factors, like: working width of the unit, working speed of the unit, the influence of the high-speed rate of work and the influence of the tractive strength. There are present graphic dependencies of the change of specific resistance of plough PP 5-35 of some variable factors. Specify by experimental way the tractive resistance of the plough and the soil resistance by different coefficients for the friction of the work surfaces is possible to calculate the efficiency with the help of it to determine the consummation of the plough in respect of the consumption of the energy. On the soils with heavy mechanical structure and by low humidity, the specific resistance increases sensitive faster then on the light soils by the same humidity.
