Production of transgenic potato plants of Belarusian selection varieties (Vetraz, Scarb and Odysseus) was studied in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Potato cells with expressed antimicrobial peptide genes of cecropin-mellitin type MSRI and CEMA were cultivated in vitro and analyzed. The transplantation of plants was made by inoculation of the tissue culture with agrobacterium. DNA and RNA-markers for PCR were detached from green leaves of plants, bred in vitro. For the experiment there were used the binary vector systems based on agrobacterial strain AGLO and pBIGUS1-MSRI / BIGUS1-CEMA plasmids. Comparative analysis of twig regeneration effectiveness based on different methods was carried out for the experimental varieties Vetraz, Scarb and Odysseus. The influence of kanamycine and timentin antibiotics was analysed. The highest regeneration potential was discovered at Vetraz plants. The plants were analyzed by the presence of MSRI or CEMA genes with DNA and RNA methods. Experiment results could be used for the further research of gene expression on protein level and cultivation of plants, synthesizing antimicrobial peptide genes of cecropin-mellitin type
