Se desarrolló un estudio climático de las cuencas hidrográficas Guantánamo-Guaso, y se logró una caracterización climática de la zona, con hincapié en el comportamiento de la lluvia por ser el elemento limitante. Se creó una base de datos digitalizadas; se organizó una red pluviométrica para garantizar el monitoreo de la seguía y posibles incendios forestales. Se reprendó en mapa 1:100 000 el comportamiento medio anual de la temperatura, la humedad relativa y la precipitación. Y se constató qué zona de estudio es muy afectada por los incendios forestales y por eventos extremos de sequía.

A climatic study on the Watershed Guantánamo-Guaso was developed, being achieved a climatic characterization of the area, making stress in the behaviour of the rain, being the last ther estrictive element. One believes a digitized database; you organize a net pluviometric to guarantee the monitoring of it followed it and possible forest fires. It is reprehends in map 1:100 000 the half annual behaviour of the temperature, the relative humidity and the precipitation. It verifies that study area is very affected by the forest fires and for extreme events of drought.
