Cotton Response to application of different rates of Iron and Zinc sulphates.

In order to study the effect of soil and foliar application of Iron and Zinc sulphates on yield and yield components of varamin cultivar cotton an experiment were conducted in station of kashmer cotton research in 2004-2005. In a factorial experiment with three replication, four levels of soil application of zinc sulphate (0, 20, 40 and 60 kg/ha), two levels of foliar application of zinc sulphate (0 and %0.5) and two levels of foliar application of Iron sulphate (0 and %0.5) were applied to the field plots. Results showed that soil application of 40 kg/ha zinc sulphate with %0.5 foliar of Iron sulphate significantly increased yield, weight and Number of cotton by 26, 13 and %19 respectively.
