In this experiment, 11 foreign cvs. Of apricot in comparison with 2 control cvs named Ordubad and Germez-e-Shahroud were studied based on RCB statistical design with 3 replicates at Sahand Hort. Res. Station for 5 years. This experiment was carried out in 3 other high productive regions of apricot named Karaj, Shahroud and Mash had in same time. Results showed that foreign cvs. have an acceptable adaptation in Azerbaijan conditions. Analysis of data during 2 recent years indicated Vittilo cv. produces the biggest fruit and in this view, Giovanillo and Cafona cvs. located in second and third classes respectively. Also a positive correlation was seen among fruit size with weight and size of stone. Harcot cv. accumulated the highest volume of organic acids and total soluble solids in its fruit and Bella d Imola cv. had the lowest trimming growth. Variation analysis of full bloom date, leaves appearance date, fall date and yielding (kg/tree) traits did not show significant differences among means of them. In all, public attention for these cvs. at least among Azerbaijan producers and consumers was low but it seems that, Vitilo, Cafona and Harcot cvs. are able to compete with Iranian cvs. approximately.
