Comparative immunological response to rabbit and monkey by routine vaccination and oral immunization against diptheria Tetanus vaccines

Compazativly Rebbits and Monkeys azally and intra musculazy immnunized against both diphtheria and tetanus. In the present study the safety and neutralizing antibody response of animal to oral and Routine immunization with purified Diphtheria and tetanus toxoids. In aral vaccine Toxoids associated with egg yolk oranadguvant - Like medicinal plant, LRS (London Rocket Seed) are di.5cussed. Antigens were incorporated in 3 ml of fresh egg yolk and mixed arbitratily with 20 mg of LRS. The vaccine diluted with 5 ml of sucrose syrup before ingestion. In another experement for inhobition of gastrointetinal engymes. animal were injected (i. v) with 1 ml of aprotinin (10,000 KIU). Intervals of vaccination was 4 weeks for titration of Diphtheria antitoxin the in vivo serum neutralization test (SN) was accompli.5hed using the rabbit intradermal techniqiue. For titration of tetanus antitoxin, the toxin neutralizing ability of serum in mice was estimated. Bath tests indicate serum IgG antitoxins.
