Planting date and seed rate are the effective factors in grain yield increasment. In order to determine the suitable Planting date and seed rate of promising hull-lees barley lines, this study was conducted as a split plat factorial experiment in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications in two cropping season in Ahwaz .The main plot were two promising hull-lees barley lines from advanced trail in 2002,incloding WHB-81-6 and WHB- 81-16 ,sub plots were consisted of four planting dates(Nov.15 with 15 days intervals) and four seed rates including 200, 300, 400 and 500 seed.m-2 .Each plot was consisted of six 20 cm rows. Results showed that grain yield of line WHB-81-6 was significantly higher than line WHB-81-16 .Grain yield differences among planting date and seed rates were significant. According to the results of this research Nov.30 and Dec.15 planting date and 300 and 400 seed.m-2 were the best planting date and seed rate respectively.
