Ascochyta blight is one of the most important disease of lentil (Lens culinaris L.) in many cunteries. This study was conducted for evaluating 30 lines of lentil along with susceptible check and local check through Iran- ICARDA colleboration at Sararood Station in Kermanshah and Ilam. The expriment materials were sown in mist system condition at field. Each entry was planted in two rows with 4m long, susceptible check was sown after every two entries as spreader-indicator and inoculated by scattering ascochyta blight diseased lentil debris. During three steps were recorded for Ascochyta blight on a scale of 1 to 9, where 1 to 4=resistant, 5= tolerant, and 6 to 9=susceptible. Results were analyzed only for locations where the susceptible check showed uniform susceptibility. In Ilam because of nondesirable environment conditions and exceptional drought, the disease hasn,t any sufficient progress on the tested lines in the field. The results of present study showed that 11 and 19 lines were resistant and tolerant to Ascochyta blight respectively.
