On November 26, 2009 at European Commission's Institute for Energy (IE) located in Patten, Netherlands an informative workshop was held on energy generation and transmission technologies as the key to the climate change. The workshop - "Energy Technologies - the Key to the Climate Change" covered several topics of emerged interest in broader context of climate change issues in connection with utilization and strategic support of various primary energy resources. During the workshop, interesting and actual aspects of energy generation and transmission as the long-term option of climate change elimination strategies of EU were examined by prominent experts of the IE. In current issue of the journal E and P the closer view on the main information blocks and research path presented in the seminar is provided.
