Six N+P treatments included T1=10+10 g/1.5m2, T2=10+20 g/1.5m2, T3=30+10 g/1.5m2, T4=30+20 g/1.5m2, T5=50+10 g/1.5m2 and T6=50+20 g/1.5m2 were evaluated to investigate the response of Zinnia elegans for number of days taken to emergence of first flower bud, number of days taken to open first flower, life of single flower, number of branches per plant, number of flowers per plant and finally plant height. The experiment was laid out in a three replicated randomized complete block design with plot size of 1.50m x 1.00m (1.5m2). The nitrogen was applied in the form of Urea (46% N), and phosphorus in the form of single super phosphate (SSP). Fertigation method for N+P application was used. The observations recorded on the basis of five selected zinnia plants in each sub-plot. The data thus collected were statistically analyzed by using analysis of variance and L.S.D (Least Significant Differences) test, following Gomez and Gomez (1984).
