Sugarcane is an important industrial and cash crop of Pakistan. Sugarcane attack by the borer which is damage and decrease the crop weight. In order to save the crop yield, pesticides application is being used by order to farmers. However, the indiscriminate use of pesticide resulted increase of pest and disturbed the agro-eco system. Considering such constraints, Nuclear Institute of Agriculture (NIA) has introduced a sustainable technique (Trichogramma Card) which is effective and environment friendly. The present study is designed to study the farmers awareness and adoption regarding Trichogramma cards in sugarcane. Also the various source of information and their effectiveness in adoption of technology and the farmers opinions about the use of Trichogramma card in sugarcane. The proposed research work was carried out by means of structured survey using questionnaire.
