The reproduction performance of 4628 PL sows was evaluated on the basis of 16320 litters in 9 lactations. Sows with 4 litters made up the largest number (over 42 percent). Eight and nine litters were reared by about 26 percent of all sows maintained on a farm. The length of the reproduction cycle was from about 169 days after the third, fourth and fifth lactations to 182 days after the first farrowing. A significant influence of the litter order on the piglet number in a litter at birthday and on 21st day of life was found. The highest fertility and number of piglets reared till the 21st day of life was recorded in the fourth and fifth litters. Statistical analysis of litter weight revealed a significant influence of the farrowing order on that trait. The highest litter weight was recorded for the third lactation, which was about 119 percent of the first one
