Field studies on the effects of N rates and the use of Spodnam on the yield of four cultivars of spring rape and its quality were carried out at the experimental station in Pawlowice in 2002-2004. The experiment was conducted in split-plot arrangement in four replications with three variables: 1) 4 cultivars of spring rape: Heros, Jura, Licosmos and Margo, 2) N rates of: 75, 100 and 125 kg x 1/ha and 3) the control with Spodnam and Spodnamtreated plots
