In 2001-2003 an experiment was conducted to study the effect of sowing method on yielding of cultivars of narrow-leaf common pea. The experiment was set at the fields of the Experimental Station of Cultivars Evaluation in Koscielna Wies, near Kalisz (Poland). The split-plot field experiments were set in four replications for three variables as follows: I. row spacing in cm: 12.5, 25.0, II. Cultivars Agra, Ramrod, Profi, Brutus, Pomorska, Tarchalska, III. number of sown seeds per 1 square m: 75, 100, 125
