Application of SWAP model for the evaluation of water content in the soils with percolative water regime

This paper presents the results of application of the soil water balance simulation model SWAP to evaluate soil water content of the Typic Glossudalfs, located in the south part of the Poznan Lakeland (Poland). The simulated data of soil water content were compared with the measured data, and according to the research results, the field measurements of the soil moisture were in a good agreement with the model prediction. The obtained results indicated a great usefulness of the SWAP model to assess the water content in the Typic Glossudalfs
