Ectoparasitoses have an important role in health problems in poultry. Caused by numerous species of Arachnidae and Insecta they produced great economic losses induced decrease of egg production and body weight or high mortality. The pathological importance depends on the type of carrier, but also on due diagnosis and control. Most parasitoses are seasonal in character, and main vectors of spreading of these parasites are no conductive hygienic measures during transport or move in of poultry, contact with infected poultry or other free living birds and by people who work with poultry. During our examination at poultry farms in Serbia were established: Dermanysus gallinae, Argas persicus, A. reflexus, Menopon gallinae, Menacanthus stramineus, Cuclotogaster heterographus, Goniocotes gallinae, Gonioides dissimilis, G. gigas, Lipeuris caponis, Cytoides nudus, Columbicola columbae, Syrinogliphus bipectinatus, Knemidocoptes mutans, K. gallinae, Echidnophaga gallinacea and Ctenocephalides felis felis.
