The aim of this paper is to present the quality of table eggs produced in different housing systems - conventional cage system, floor system with limited space and free range. The hybrid used for the experiment was ISA Brown. The quality of eggs was checked once a month, during the whole production cycle of a year. The external quality parameters evaluated were egg weight, shell colour, shell cleanness, shape index, shell thickness, shell weight and breaking strength, and the internal egg quality traits evaluated were albumen height, yolk color and Haugh Units. The quality of table eggs varied significantly depending on the different housing system. The eggs produced in conventional cages had a greater mass and were cleaner than the eggs produced in the floor systems. The best results for shell thickness were found in laying hens kept in the free range. The age of the hens significantly affected the results of the observed parameters.
