Under the influence of the cultures of the Austrian pine and Scots pine, as well as under the influence of the products of decomposition of their leaf litter, in the surface layers of the studied reclaimed mine soils, the content of the forms of potassium which are available to the plants increased in comparison with the deeper layers.
