This paper highlights the importance of lime application on acid pseudogley, which is among the most common soil types in Serbia, primarily in its central part. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different liming rates on changes in pH, mobilization of Al ions and increase in macro- and micro-element contents of the tested soil. The soil samples underwent agrochemical analysis for the following elements: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Al, Cu, Zn, Mn and Mo in the control and three different lime treatments (T1, T2, and T4) both prior to and following harvest. A change in soil pH was observed, with the highest rate of change being measured in T4, pH changing from 4.5 to 6.4-7.2. The effect of liming on the above elements was also noted in the T1 and T2 treatment.
