The experiments were conducted in 2007-2008 in the Moscow Region on potato varieties Zhukovskij rannij and Golubizna. The soil of the test plots was inundated mean-loamy high-cultivated soil. Plants were sprayed with lingohumate solutions (fertilizer based on humic acid potassium salts forming chelates with some macro- and microelements) based on 0.75, 150, 225 and 300 g of dry powder dissolved in 100 l water per 1 ha. The main spraying was performed in the budding phase. Re-spraying was performed in some variants in the blossom phase, as well as spraying in 10-12 days after blossom with Aquarin-12, which is a mineral fertilizer in a chelate form. On average over 2 years the top mass of Zhukovskij rannij 543.5-1157.5 g/bush, the assimilation area – 41.4-66.6 thousand square m/ha; Golubizna – 767.5-1140.0 g/bush and 65.1-92.3 thousand square m/ha, respectively. At the doses exceeding 225 g/ha lingohumates exhibited an inhibiting effect on the above mentioned parameters. The average yield for 2 years of Zhukovskij rannij was 48.8 t/ha, Golubizna – 42.5 t/ha. The maximum yield increments were obtained at the dose of lingohumate 225 g/ha. At the same dose the starch content of tubers from 9.4 to 11.7% in Zhukovskij rannij and from 17.8 to 22.2% in Golubizna. The re-spraying compared to the main one did not provide great advantages
