A few short articles dealing with the 200th anniversary of the birth of Dr Janez Bleiweis. The editorial board publishes a special edition in which different authors try to shed light on his figure and work, which was very important for Slovenia and its language. In this way the memory of Dr Janez Bleiweis and his significance for the Slovene nation is brought a little closer to all those who may not be familiar with his work.
