Irrigation and fertigation belong to important factors of farming systems. This paper deals with effect of fertigation on carrot crop properties. Yield increase of 2.32 t/ha (74.11 -71.79) was obtained when growing carrot with fertigation. The equality of irrigation rate was determined according to standard ISO/DIS 7749/2. Obtained results showed that the value of equality (Cu) equal to 60.014% corresponds to the overlap of 0. In order to increase the coefficient of equality (Cu) to value of 77.94% the overlap equal to 16m was sufficient. Also, higher value of slimness coefficient (the slimmer shape of the root) was observed for the alternative with fertigation. The difference of the convergency coefficient was negligible for both cases (fertigation, without fertigation).
