Circumstantial assignments of dendrometrical parametres done on three consistent areas of research in National Nature Reserve Pilsko were established in different stages of the primeral forest life cycle, the main objective was to analyze the changes of the structure, dead wood, regeneration processes and production of the primeral forest during in the year 2007. Analysing the results of external measurments and consequently evaluation of production conditions, basal area of the stand has also increased in the advanced phase optimum stage 429.4 cubic m per ha. Likewise, basal area of the stand has also increased in the advanced phase optimum stage 37.14 cubic m per ha. The highest number of coarse trees was observed in the advanced phase upgrowth stage 332 ks per ha. High volume of dead wood was confirmed in the advanced phase destruction stage 337.16 cubic m per ha, witch is typical for given stage. The results of the investigation of regeneration processes confirmed that the growth of spruce in the upgrowth stage is slowed down, which is due to present nch undergrowth, on the other hand it was observed that at the optimum stage there is the highest number of natural regeneration individuals i.e. 3,399 ks per ha, witch is typical for a given stage.
