This work is analyzing the working operations of the alpine harvester Konrad Mounty 4000 in extreme conditions of the broadleaved forests. This alpine harvester is owned and runned by KT Servis company. Analysis showed, that chiefly skidding distance and the distance of the wagon drive into the stand had an impact on the time usage of the working operations. The dependence between the time usage and the load volume and the number of trees during the operations as the creating the load and unfasten the load was not confirmed, respcctively was very weak. The time losses were mainly caused by the terrain, that made the controling harder, and prefering processing the load before the skidding from the reason of endangering the operator and worker who are fasting the load in the stand in case of the slipping down the trunks from the manipulation platform. The mentioned alpine harvester is suitable also into the broad-leaved stands with the extreme inklinations because usage the hydromanipulator prevents the spontaneous movement of the trunks and mainly the safety of the operator in the stand during the skidding the load on the short distances increases.
