Effects of genotype and location on grain yield and some quality traits in bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes | Ekmeklik buğday (Triticum aestivum L.)genotiplerinin tane verimi ile bazı kalite özellikleri üzerine genotip ve lokasyon etkileri

This research was carried out using 25 bread wheat genotypes (20 advanced lines and 5 cultivars) in a Randomized Complete Block Design with four replicates in 2004-2005 growing season in Samsun, Amasya and Tokat locations. In the trial, the cultivar data regarding seed yield, 1000 kernel weight, test weight, protein content and Zeleny sedimentation were investigated. The combined variance analyses indicated that differences between genotype and location means were significant for all 5 traits and that location effects notably contributed more to the total variation . According to the results including three location averages grain yields, 1000 kernel weight, test weight, crude protein content and Zeleny sedimentation value of genotypes, were between 455.3-666.3 kg/da, 32.4-41.8 g, 74.8-82.5 kg, 11.2-13.5% and 26.9-51.2 ml, respectively. The highest seed yield was obtained from numbered 2, 7 and 11 genotypes in Samsun location, numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 genotypes in Amasya location and numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 genotypes in Tokat location. According to regression coefficient and average grain yields, the genotypes numbered 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 14, 19 and 20 were found to be well adapted to all environments. Evaluating the regression coefficient, average grain yield and mean square of deviation from the regression, the genotypes numbered 2, 3, 4, 7, 14 and 20 were found to be stable.

Bu araştırma, 2004-2005 yetiştirme sezonunda 25 ekmeklik buğday genotipi (20 ileri seviyede hat ve 5 çesit) ile Samsun, Amasya ve Tokat lokasyonlarında Tesadüf Blokları Deneme Desenine göre 4 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada çeşitlerin tane verimi, bin tane ağırlığı, hektolitre ağırlığı, protein oranı ve Zeleny sedimantasyon değeri incelenmiştir. Birleştirilmiş varyans analizleri genotip ve lokasyon ortalamaları arasındaki farklılıkların beş özellikte de önemli olduğunu ve tüm özellikler için lokasyon etkilerinin toplam değişkenliğe daha fazla katkıda bulunduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Üç lokasyonun ortalaması olarak genotiplerin tane verimleri 455.3-666.3 kg/da, bin tane ağırlıkları 32.4-41.8 g, hektolitre ağırlıkları 74.8-82.5 kg, protein oranları %11.2-13.5 ve Zeleny sedimantasyon değerleri 26.9 – 51.2 ml arasında değismiştir. En yüksek tane verimi Samsun lokasyonunda 2, 7 ve 11 numaralı, Amasya lokasyonunda 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 ve 10 numaralı, Tokat lokasyonunda ise 1,2, 3, 4, 7 ve 8 numaralı genotiplerden elde edilmiştir. Regresyon katsayısı ve ortalama tane verimine göre 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 14, 19 ve 20 nolu genotipler bütün çevrelere iyi uyum sağlayan genotipler olarak belirlenmiştir. Regresyon katsayısı, ortalama verim ve regresyondan sapma kareler ortalaması birlikte değerlendirildiğinde ise 2, 3, 4, 7, 14 ve 20 nolu genotipler stabil olarak belirlenmiştir.
