英语. Global warming is gaining significance as a threat to natural and managed ecosystems since temperature is one of the major environmental factors affecting plant productivity. Hence, heat tolerant cultivars are increasingly gaining importance. In this study some morphologic and physiologic characteristics were investigated to determine the level of high temperature tolerance of Urfa domestic tomato genotipes. This study was conducted in land of GAP Training Extension and Research Center Director in Akçakale. 4 Urfa domestic genotypes (4-10, 64-16, 2-29, 117-2) were compared with 10 varieties which were provided Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center. The plants were grown in the field in three seasons which are the optimum temparature (28/21°C), moderate high temperature (32/22°C) and high temparature (37/27°C). Percentage seed germination and duration, 50% flowering duration, percentage of fruit set, number of pollen produced, number of pollen released, pollen viabilty, pollen germination rate, percentage of seed set, the number of seed per fruit, percentage of partenocarpic fruit, percentage of undeveloped flowers , percantage of aborted flowers, foliage density, leaf type, morphological apperance of leaves, number of leaves, leaf area, diameter of stem, fruit weigth, fruit width, and total soluble solid substance (TSS) were examined. Statistical analyzis of İnvestigated characteristics were done by JUMP Statistical Software.

土耳其. Bitki üretimine etki eden çevresel faktörlerden en önemlisinin sıcaklık olmasından dolayı, global ısınma, ekosistemin yönetiminde doğal bir tehdit olarak önem kazanmaktadır. Bu nedenle sıcağa toleranslı genotipler giderek önemli olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Urfa yerli genotiplerinin yüksek sıcaklığa tolerans düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla, bazı morfolojik ve fizyolojik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma; GAP Eğitim, Yayım ve Araştırma Merkezi Müdürlüğü Akçakale arazisinde yürütülmüştür. Dört Urfa yerli genotipleri (4-10, 64-16, 2-29, 117-2) ile, Asya Sebze Araştırma ve Geliştirme Merkezinden sağlanan sıcaklığa toleranslı 10 çeşitle karşılaştırılmıştır. Bitkilerin üç döneminde optimum (28/21°C), orta yüksek sıcaklık (32/22°C) ve yüksek sıcaklık koşullarında (37/27°C) doğal olarak yetişmeleri sağlanmıştır. Tohum çimlenme oranı ve süresi, %50 çiçeklenme süresi, meyve tutum oranı, üretilen çiçek tozu sayısı, salınan çiçek tozu sayısı, çiçek tozu canlılığı, çiçek tozu çimlenmesi, tohumlu meyve oranı ve meyve başına tohum miktarı, partenokarpik meyve oranı, gelişmemiş çiçek-meyve oranı, aborsiyona uğramış çiçek oranı, tüylülük, yaprak tipi, yaprakların genel görünüşleri, yaprak sayısı, bitki yaprak alanı, ana gövde çapı, meyve ağırlığı, meyve çapı-boyu, suda çözünebilir kuru madde (SÇKM) özellikleri incelenmiştir. İncelenen özelliklerin istatiksel analizleri JUMP paket programında yapılmıştır.
