Results of study of dependence growth and increase of herbage and dry matter accumulation by annual fodder crops (lupine (Lupinus) of Mirtan and Guliver varieties, vetch (Vicia) of Charaunitsa variety, field pea (Pisum) of Agat variety, oat (Avena saliva) of Zapavet variety, barley (Hordeum vulgare) of Yakub variety, spring triticale of Lana variet) on sowing terms and weather conditions in the central zone of the Republic of Belarus were presented. Research results proved that the formation of yielding capacity of studied annual fodder crops substantially depended on moisture and temperature regimes Later sowing terms of annual fodder crops in the interim from April 25 up to May 25 caused much more intensive growth and increase of herbage. Much more intensive growth of herbage took place at the stage between 35 and 45 days after seedling germination that corresponded to the stage budding – blossoming of leguminous crops and ear formation – cereal blossoming
