Results of growing of starlet (Acipenser ruthenus) larvae using the experimental starting fodders, studying of their influence on growth rate, juvenile survival and physiological state of grown yearlings realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were presented. The following indexes of quality characteristics of starting fodders were analyzed: crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, calcium, phosphorous, aminoacids, arginine, histidine, leucine, isoleucine, lysine, phenylalanyl, threonine, valine, triptophane, and methionine. Results of the biochemical and hematological indexes of experimental yearlings were presented. Results of larvae feeding on the basis of the experimental fodders in the production conditions were stated (quantity of growing days; quantity of larvae, average weight at the stage of transfer from feeder fish to starter, fished out larvae, average weight, average daily weight gain, relative individual weight gain, total weight gain, feeding ratio). Research results showed that the national starting fodders corresponded to the requirements of starlet larvae in the main nutritive elements. Its usage in combination with feeder fish provided excellent growing rate, high survival rate and acquisition of viable hanging material
