A mathematical model for calculating the rolling resistance to the driven pneumatic tires is developed. It is made on the basis of volumetric representation of the surface contact of the tires and soil. The curvature of the tire in the radial plane is taken into consideration. Designed scheme of the tire and soil interaction is made for the longitudinal and radial wheel plains. Dependence of the resisting force of wheel rolling on the overshoe arch boom is shown. The mathematical model for calculating the rolling resistance to the driven pneumatic tires allows defining the resisting force of driven wheel rolling depending on the tire diameter, tire profile parameters, wheel load, tire deformation, air pressure and soil features. The utilization of the flat racetrack tires in agriculture allows declining expenses for the equipment movement in the field conditions.
