Realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus studies showed that seed treatment of perennial grasses with electromagnetic field of microwave irradiation of 300, 700W (frequency 2000 Hz) made it possible to increase the germination power of legume grasses (creeping trefoil (Trifolium repens), meadow clover (Trifolium pratense), lucerne (Medicago sativa)) on 2-9%, and laboratory germination capacity - on 6-8%. The applied irradiation had the decontamination action (fungi of Zygomycetes (Mucor sp., Rhizopus sp.) and Penicillium sp.). In the conditions of applied seed irradiation even in the stage of simulation and activation of seeds there was observed infection demise on 36-72% higher in comparison with control variants
